Papers of Roger Tatarian, 1934-1995.

This collection contains biographical information, all of the weekly columns Tatarian wrote for the Fresno Bee from 1987 to 1995 and outlines of numerous speeches he gave throughout his career. One speech in particular stirred up a controversy in the world of journalism when Tatarian criticized the "shield laws" that give journalists the right to keep their sources private.
